GLOBAL 220

KEYMAX GROUP of companies adopted a business objective entitled "Global 220". The objective of "Global 220" is for KEYMAX GROUP to manage 80 vessels and supply crew to 140 vessels.

In order to achieve our objective we have implemented the following action plan.

Rearing and training crews and pooling human resources

Scholarships are offered to top class students at a marine college in the Philippines. Upon graduation, the scholars will receive Cadet Training from KEYMAX GROUP, forming a pool of employable seafarers in the future.

Comprehensive management of crew data and carrying out pre-boarding briefings

Video conferences are held between KEYMAX GROUP and manning agencies in the Philippines & China, to conduct pre-boarding interviews and briefings.

Reinforcement of shipmanagement personnel

Each superintendent handles not more than five vessels so as to offer comprehensive service.

Rearing Japanese youth trainees

Fresh graduates from Maritime Universities & Colleges are recruited as "Youth Trainee" to be developed into future Superintendents.

Intensifying the employment of shore personnel

The operation support system for Crewing and Shipmanagement departments will be strengthened. The number of staff in the Customer Response team will be increased to handle customer feedback and requests more efficiently.

Enhancement of our overseas affiliates and branches

For shipmanagement and total management including crew employment and training in China, KEYMAX GROUP has established a joint venture with Tianjin Ocean Shipping Company, a member of COSCO Group.

Establishment of shipmanagement system

Data Management Team has been set up in Tokyo and Manila to enable the complete management of the data from our vessels.

Closer cooperation with clients

A Regional office (in Ehime Prefecture, Imabari City) has been set up to maintain close relationship and daily communication with our clients in the Chugoku and Shikoku Regions.

Owning company ships and ships in joint ventures

In order to assure our clients of the reinforced Shipmanagement System, KEYMAX GROUP manages its own vessels and maintains stable corporate management.
